Chettinad Paruppu Urundai Kuzhambu, This video is on how to prepare/make Paruppu Urundai Kuzhambu (பருப்பு உருண்டை குழம்பு) in traditional style. This is a good combination for rice and can also be served as side dish for idli, chappathi, adai, dosa, etc.,
Ingredianats needed for Paruppu Urundai
Bengal Gram - 1 cup (soak for 15 minutes)
Toor Dhal - 1/4 cup (soak for 15 minutes)
Onion finely chopped - 1 no.
Dry red chilli - 4 no.
Curry leaves finely chopped - 2 tsp
Anise (sombu) - 1 tsp
Salt to taste
Grind the soaked Dhal along with Redichilli Anise and Salt
Now add Chopped Onion & Curry leaves and mix well and make a lemon sized balls.
